Esse Stoves

Esse Stoves have been in business since the mid-1800s. They are a well respected Scottish stovemaker. With over 150 years of experience, they will definitely stand behind their products.

They have a line of stoves in the 100 to 700 model lines. They vary in terms of design and BTUs delivered. They are all multifuel capable which gives your some nice flexibility depending on prices. They will burn many different solid fuels, from coal to logs. Their stoves feature the patented Afterburn system, which is a technology developed for a secondary burn to increase efficiency. Recently, they have begun to add more contemporary designs to their stove models in part to respond to a push for wood stoves in newer homes.

100 Series - a nice choice if you have a tight space. Has a small design compared to the 200 series.

200 Series - The first models to have the Afterburn system. A little more heat than the 100 series.

300 Series - A mainly coal burning stove with convector technology.

500 Series - A smaller stove available in coal and wood burning models.

700 Series - A new design with increased heat output. Available in a boiler model.
