The stove is designed to fit at any location easily. The stove uses solid multifuels, which consists mainly of woods and additional coal beds for long burning hours and efficient heating.

Advantages:
The quick and efficient heating by the stove can be attained with spin-dial air-vent system. This system helps control the heating capacity and burning hours of the stove. The standard Morso Squirrel stove comes with articulated grate that helps releasing the ashes directly to the ash pan. The big size ash pan makes the ash removal and cleaning of the stove very easy. The stove uses cleanburning technology for minimum fuel emissions; its EPA certified. For a small stove, it also has long burn times, with some consumers reporting up to 10 hour burn times. It has been tested to easily heat small cabins up to 900 Sq ft. It is also available in a coal burning version.


Disadvantages:

Due to the compact size of stove and its firebox fitting in the logs is sometimes difficult. When the stove is allowed to burn slowly it emits black soot which can be seen over the glass door. The riddler is not insulated which can cause burning of hands while riddling the grate. Installation of the boiler is a cumbersome process.

Summary:

For a small stove, it has a pretty long burn times and is fairly efficient. For a small stove or cabin where space is a premium but solid heat is still needed, this is a solid choice.
